5 Pro tips when doing laundry

Doing laundry could be a really headache, specially when you are a newbie, but don't worry, we will give you a lot of tips & tricks to clear this like a pro. Even mom will ask you for help.

{1st time washing a garment}

We've heard from many people that you have to do laundry separating by colors our clothing and this is in part true, but it is applicable when it's the first time. This is because clothing has a lot of chemicals when it's made in the factory, so when you wash a new pair of pants, socks, t-shirts, etc... these chemicals are removed and can take some color from your clothing. That's why you need to separate your clothes when it is the first time.

{Separating type of clothing}

Separating your clothes by type of fabric is very important, because some fabrics are harder than others. If you just drop your clothing right into the wash machine without doing this, then your clothes will wear out faster and trust me, you don't want that.

But, we know it could take a lot of time to make a laundry cycle for each type of clothing, so to hack this situation, we highly recommend to use laundry mesh bags (with zippers). These things are miracles, because they protect your clothes avoiding touching the wash machine (dryer) walls, also they prevent your clothes of over stretching.

If you use these laundry mesh bags, it will be like giving your separated clothes a cycle for each type of clothing.

{NEVER dry your clothes with the sun}

Drying your clothes with the sun, is the worst thing you can do to your clothes, so no matter what kind of clothes you are drying, it always will be better to dry them using a dryer (new ones have delicates or drying in cold program). If you don't have a dryer, then you can dry your clothes in the shadow and in a windy (or at least open) space in your home.

{Turning your clothes inside out}

This will avoid of your clothes fading, will help to remove the leftover deodorant, the sweat and the oil from our skin, and finally will improve the life of your clothes.

{Adding vinegar}

We already gave you a vinegar hack for the dishes. Now it's time to add this hack to your clothes (specially sportwear).

So, when you are adding laundry detergent and fabric softener in your wash machine, add vinegar in both spaces (Quantity depends on the amount of clothing to wash). This will remove bad odors, will keep the color of your clothes and will avoid fuzz and white spots (those ones when the softener didn't mix well).
